Setting Out for Seetharkkundu
On Monday, 12 August 2018, my friends Anilkumar, Pratheesh, and I set out on an adventure to Seetharkkundu Waterfall. The day was rainy, but that didn’t dampen our excitement. We were three friends looking forward to exploring the beauty of the waterfall, hoping the rain would make it all the more breathtaking. The lush greenery and misty atmosphere seemed perfect for a day of fun and adventure.
Reaching the Waterfall
The journey to Seetharkkundu was filled with winding roads and scenic views. As we neared the waterfall, the sound of rushing water grew louder, heightening our excitement. The rain had added more volume to the waterfall, making it even more majestic. Surrounded by thick green foliage, the waterfall stood as a striking contrast to the misty surroundings. We were mesmerized by its power and beauty, with the rain making everything feel fresh and vibrant.
Braving the Rain
The rain continued to pour, but instead of being a hindrance, it added a sense of adventure to the experience. We donned our rain jackets and walked closer to the waterfall, careful of the slippery rocks. The cool raindrops mixed with the mist from the waterfall, creating an almost magical atmosphere. It felt like we were in a world of our own, far away from the everyday hustle. The rain made everything more vibrant, and we couldn’t resist laughing at how drenched we were getting.
A Moment of Reflection
As we stood near the waterfall, the sound of the rushing water and the steady rain created a peaceful, almost meditative environment. We took a moment to reflect, appreciating the raw beauty of nature around us. Despite the rain, or perhaps because of it, the entire scene felt surreal and tranquil. Being in such a serene spot, with the company of close friends, made it a moment to cherish.
Ending the Day with Gratitude
Before we knew it, the day was drawing to a close. Soaked from head to toe but filled with memories, we headed back, our spirits high. The rain had been a constant companion throughout the day, but it had only added to the adventure. As we left Seetharkkundu, we felt grateful for the experience, the bond between us, and the beauty we had witnessed. It was a rainy day that we would remember for years to come.
