A Day at Ponmudi Hills – 08 September 2021

Journey with Friends

On 8th September 2021, I set out on a memorable journey with my dear friends – Pradeesh, Anilkumar, Joshy, and Sajan – to the enchanting hill station of Ponmudi, nestled in the Western Ghats of Kerala. The excitement of traveling together, sharing stories, and looking forward to the misty landscapes made the trip extra special.

The Road to Ponmudi

The drive itself was an adventure – winding roads, lush greenery on either side, and the cool breeze brushing against us. Every curve opened up a new scenic view, making the climb more and more mesmerizing. We couldn’t resist stopping at a few points to take in the beauty and capture photos.

Reaching the Misty Hills

As we reached Ponmudi, we were greeted by the signature mist and rolling hills. The view was breathtaking – endless layers of green hills fading into the clouds. We spent time walking around, exploring the viewpoints, and enjoying the cool weather. The silence of the hills, broken only by the chirping of birds, made the experience truly peaceful.

Friendship and Memories

What made the trip truly unforgettable was the company of my friends. From light-hearted jokes to deep conversations, every moment spent together added more joy to the day. Sitting on the rocks, sipping tea from a nearby stall, and simply enjoying the calm surroundings will always remain in my memory.

Reflections of the Day

Ponmudi gifted us more than just stunning views – it gave us moments of togetherness and peace away from the usual routines of life. As we drove back, we carried with us not just photos, but also the warmth of friendship and the refreshing touch of nature.
