1. Journey to Virgin Valley
Spending a day at Virgin Valley Pathrakkadavu Eco Tourism was an unforgettable experience for me and my beloved family — my wife, Suneera, and our two daughters, Fathima Haniya and Fadhiya Mariyam.
We started our journey early in the morning, excited to immerse ourselves in the untouched beauty of nature. As we reached Virgin Valley, the refreshing cool air and the stunning greenery instantly lifted our spirits. The serene atmosphere, with its gentle streams and dense forests, was a perfect escape from the everyday rush.
2. First Impressions and Sightseeing
Our first stop was a picturesque viewpoint where the mist kissed the hilltops and the distant waterfalls painted a mesmerizing view. Fathima Haniya and Fadhiya Mariyam couldn’t stop smiling, running around, collecting little pebbles, and posing for photos.
3. Exploring the Nature Trail
We ventured into a nature trail next. Walking hand-in-hand, we admired the lush greenery, exotic birds, and colorful butterflies fluttering around. It felt like we had entered a different world altogether. The path was well-maintained, making it a safe and enjoyable trek for the kids too.
4. Family Picnic by the Stream
By noon, we settled near a small clearing by a stream for a picnic. With the soft gurgle of flowing water and the chirping of birds around us, we enjoyed a hearty meal together. It was a simple yet precious moment of family bonding.
5. Learning at the Eco Center
Later, we visited the eco-tourism center where the local guides explained the rich biodiversity of the region. Fathima and Fadhiya were fascinated by the eco-conservation efforts and even made a little pledge to “Protect Nature” at the visitor’s wall.
6. Sunset and Sweet Memories
As the sun began to set, casting golden hues across the valley, we took one last stroll around the area. The tranquil silence, broken only by the rustle of leaves and distant calls of birds, made us realize how important such pristine places are for our soul.
We left Virgin Valley with our hearts full and a promise to return again someday. Nature, after all, is not just a place to visit — it’s home.
